Valhalla Hotel & Conference Centre

I've accessed the Valhalla Inn for conferences and private meetings hosted by various organizations. The Fireside Room is comfortable for intimate private functions and will accommodate thirty people before getting too crowded. I have not stayed in the Hotel myself so I cannot fairly comment on the rooms themselves however service appears to be excellent. The food and service is always fresh and prepared with a touch of class. Service people are very pleasant with humble personalities and friendly attitudes with big smiles. Food taste and quality are above average for a 3.5 Star rated Hotel. I give this Hotel a 4 and two thumbs up. Definitely a good recommendation for visitors to Thunder Bay.

We had a really great experience here at the hotel. Its conveniently located 5 mins from the airport. Walmart is litterally across the street with a wide range of budget friendly restaurants and takeout options, you'll get value for money. The hotel bookings are reasonably priced and they promise the rooms are "smoke free." For those that care, the hotel does have a small gym for a quick exercise, a reasonably sized indoor pool, a large cozy seating area with a wood fired fireplace, a little snack shop, and of course a restaurant that provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is well managed and maintained. Cozy, clean, and tidy. The rooms come with a study table, tv with cable, and the basic necessities. Practicality, convenience, service, and the ambiance that the hotel had to offer, were the reasons for us to book here. Its totally a welcoming environment for family and children aswell. If we're in town again we wouldn't mind stopping here in a heartbeat. We totally enjoyed our stay here, it was a pleasurable experience. (Just an FYI, one of our family friends car did get broken into outside. We recommend to bring all you're valuables inside with you, better safe than sorry)

Very nice service and staff, super understanding and great shuttle service too, been a loyal customer for years, would highly recommend staying here. Great spot as everything is within walking distance too. Very affordable pricing and nice restaurant/bar. 5 stars

I had a great experience at Valhalla Hotel, thanks to Ashwin Hamal. He was extremely professional, friendly, and attentive throughout my visit. Ashwin made sure everything was taken care of quickly and with a positive attitude, which really enhanced my stay. His customer service skills truly stand out and reflect well on the hotel. Highly recommend asking for Ashwin if you’re staying here — excellent service all around!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. It’s a great place for families and friends, with a welcoming atmosphere and everything you need for a comfortable visit. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, which made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Having a restaurant on site was a huge bonus, convenient and perfect after a long day out exploring. The location is excellent as well, with easy access to all amenities, attractions, and services in the city. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice! The countertops weren't wiped, but it was only a tiny thing. The rest of the hotel was great! 100% reccomend if you're at Thunder Bay. Then again, I love the nordic vibe and that's what this hotel gives.

Off I go to work again the mine. I really enjoy my stay at the hotel. The rooms are really nice and have been recently renovated. One of the things I love about this hotel is they have a shuttle bus that will pick you up or drop you off at the airport free of charge. It’s a beautiful thing when you can call your hotel and they can pick you up within five minutes of landing. That’s the other thing that’s so nice about this location. You are literally less than five minutes away from the airport. Another really great thing for travellers is that they let you keep your vehicle parked at the hotel for free while you are away. I like to save money and parking can be expensive if you’re away for a week or two. I called the front desk when I landed and they even started my Bronco so it would be warm when I arrived. Great customer service at this hotel. Cheers guys and keep up the great work.

Great food, love how clean it is. Nice and warm in hallways. Just next to the runway - Before when I was staying for a company workshop and middle of the night I heard a plane. However I'll stay there if I get the chance, close to a highway and nice view to the runway as well.
